Catch your best four zander and best four perch in round 2 of the pairs league

Join us for round 2 of our members-only pairs league at our prolific Warwick venue. Entry is £5 for a team of two. Entries close at 4pm on Thursday, September 21.

The match will be held on the Grand Union Canal between bridge 54 at Hatton and bridge 23 Stockton Road, Stockton. This time only your four biggest perch and four biggest zander will count towards your score. There are no sections, so you can fish anywhere along the competition stretch. Fishing is from 7.45am-1.45pm.

The water will be closed for practising from Friday, September 15 (inclusive).

Note: we are back to paper-based scoring for this match. Teams will be expected to photograph their score sheet at 1.45pm and send it to competition headquarters either via the LACC Facebook Messenger account or by email to lacccompetitions@gmail.com

7.15am – Competition Briefing

7.25am – Competitors can head off on foot or in car

7.45am – Fishing starts

1.45pm – Fishing ends on towpath and competitors return to Welton Road on foot or in car. Don’t forget to photograph your scoresheet and send it in.

2.30pm – results and prize-giving
