Adam and Nathan win our Predator Pairs on a tough day at Warwick

Congratulations to team Castaways of Adam Brooks and Nathan Goodwin who won this year’s Predator Pairs with a hard-won 242cm. Teams had to record their four longest perch and four longest zander. It was a tough ask on a day when the canal was still carrying a lot of colour from the recent torrential rain.

Team Canalmasters of Mike McGuire and Richard Haines were second with 238cm and Team No Name of Vidar Thomassen and Alan Brown third with 227cm.

Biggest zander of 58cm was caught by Marcin Kusztelak of Polish Fishing Club and biggest perch of 34cm went to Andy Dougan of Power Rangers.
Thanks to our sponsor Todber Manor Lure Division who provided tackle vouchers to our winners and a purchase discount to all our competitors.

This year’s event was in memory of our friend, fellow angler and LACC member Greg Canter, who passed away earlier this year. Greg’s brother Andrew and his fishing partner Daryn Pahl presented the trophies and fished the competition. Proceeds from the event will be shared in honour of Greg with Get Hooked on Fishing and to buy starter kit for our own Get Into Lure Fishing events.
